Comments from Fans!
Well, this time, the comments are mine ... I attended Dragon*Con in Atlanta, GA August 30-September 2, 2002. I had a wonderful time! I plan on posting more comments on my personal website (www.trimarisdiane.com), but for here, let me just say that it was really great getting to finally meet Judson! I very much enjoyed talking to him, and I really hope I didn't monopolize him too much. I did try to stand aside whenever other fans came up (which was quite often). I'd say that Dragon*Con, for me anyway, was a complete success! Here's a picture of me (in costume) with Judson. (I'll post other pictures on the Con Photo page.)
Toronto Trek! I've received word from a couple of fans that Judson was at Toronto Trek over the weekend! Sorry, I didn't have any advance notice he was going to be there, or I would have let you know! Anyway, for those of you who got to see him, let me know if you have any comments or pictures you'd like to share! This is what I've gotten from one person:
"Today (actually Friday) was the first day of Toronto Trek 15 and you will be happy to know that Judson Scott is here! I actually got to talk to him, as I've been a big fan since The Phoenix and have always wanted to meet him. He is one of the sweetest people I've ever met (and a brother lefthander!!). I'm hoping to get a photo tomorrow (I forgot my camera today, can you believe it!) and if it comes out, I'll send you a copy."
Denise just sent this photo from the Trek Expo. She says, "It's unfortunate but my camera was not working properly and most of my photos came out quite blurry. This overexposed one is actually one of the BETTER shots {sigh}."

"Hi Diane!
"Just got back from the Trek Expo con. in Tulsa and it was great! Judson was
signing autographs all three days and on Sunday he got 45 min. on stage which
was awesome. I will e-mail Vicki with details to put into the next
newsletter but one thing you might want to post on your site is this: Judson
said to make sure and write Chris Carter about Absalom. He said it would
only take about 30 handwritten letters to make a difference. He said the
address should be found on the X-files website.
"Have a great day! Denise
Comments from another fan who was at the Tulsa, OK con: "I was looking for Judson Scott info when I ran across your page. I met him 6-23 at a hotel bar after the Tulsa (OK) Trek Expo 2001, where he and the rest of the celebrities of the expo where staying. He seemed pretty cool, and didn?t seem ?stuck up? like many other such people I've met. He said he was still on the Xfiles, so I guess that Absalom will be back."
Another fan saw Judson recently at the Creations Entertainment con in Pasadena, CA. Here're her comments:
Hi Diane, Attached is a graphic from the above referenced show. Unfortunately, I was unable to get much closer, for there were many people surrounding
him and he looked totally exhausted. It was in the advanced hours on a
Saturday night and the only actors left in that room were he and the
shapeshifter bounty hunter dude from the X-Files. And actually, both
were commanding quite a crowd. Take care, Juli"
A fellow fan attended V: The Convention, and had a great time with Judson. Here is the email she sent me:
Hello Diane!
My name is Vicki Hartman and I just got back from the "V" Convention! I got some wonderful pictures of Judson there and he was such a warm and wonderful person, I truly hope I get to meet him again some day! I'm sure he will have no problem remembering the "crazy" blonde that was flitting about the place! LOL
Honestly, he let me hang out with him for quite some time and even spent some time talking to me at the cocktail party! He is a very caring and warm person and he made me like him all the more for it! As soon as I get the pictures developed, I will scan them and send them your way! I also got a picture of Judson with Joyce (she had the Judson Scott is #1 Fan Club) and her son, Elvis! They were very sweet also! All of the stars that were there made my weekend enjoyable, but Judson made it memorable!
AD2000
Judson Scott appeared as a guest at "AD2000", the 49th British Star Trek Convention held from Friday, April 28th to Monday May 1st, 2000.
I got an email from a fan who attended the con on Monday, May 1 and he has graciously given me permission to post it here. So, here's the first report on the con!!
"Hi mate
A friend and I went to the AD2000 in Manchester this weekend. He was very impressed by Judson so I thought I'd find out some stuff about him and came across your little gem.
He was a very nice guy. Of all the stars at the convention he really made an effort to socialise and get to know the fans.
His talk wasn't the most interesting but in the hotel bar on the Sunday evening he made up for it. He found the piano and spent a while entertaining us with his musical skills - it was cool. Although he did look a little like Richard Clayderman!
All the best
Mike Ward"
Here is the page from the programme book that Judson signed for Mike, which he kindly scanned and emailed to me. This is a thumbnail, so click on it to view it full sized.
